Precepts for a Successful Life
True success is not measured temporally but by spiritual endowments. Here are some precepts for a successful life:
Love all people, always, at all times, with all that you have.
Unselfishly seek to be the greatest good for the greatest amount of people possible.
Keep your vision above the stars and your feet firmly upon the ground.
Share all of your gifts unstintingly and unconditionally with all who would cheerfully receive them. Pray for those who fail to recognize and appreciate them.
Everyone born on this planet has the potential for great good. Look for the good in everyone and everything, and you will find it. Don't go looking for the evil, for that search will be rewarded in infinitude.
Live your life as one who shall have to make a reckoning with the Sovereign God at the end. May you be able to say then, "I have fulfilled your will for my life," so that you shall receive His eternal approbation: "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."
